Susie Marsden-Allan

I qualified as a solicitor in March 2014 after training at a regional law firm. I have an established background in property law having worked in this field since 2009. I have worked in a number of real estate teams in legal 500 firms in Cardiff as well as smaller more local firms. I joined ETLP in April 2019.

I am a commercial property solicitor with experience in dealing with a wide range of property transactions including landlord and tenant, acquisitions and disposals of all types of commercial property and secured lending with mainstream banks such as HSBC and Natwest.

My Landlord and Tenant work encompasses the following; lease renewals, new leases, surrenders, lease assignments, licences for alterations, rent deposit deeds and agreements for lease subject to issues such as landlords works or planning permission. The types of properties being dealt with have included day care centres, hairdressers, coffee shops, office premises, industrial units and large retail shops.

I have had exposure working with clients from both the public and private sectors including national charities, local authorities, further education and higher education clients, banks, local developers and landlords ranging from local individuals to much larger national and international entities.

I pride myself on my professional, efficient and personal approach.

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate Department here at Everett Tomlin Lloyd & Pratt. I specialise in drafting Wills, administering Trusts and Estates, inheritance tax planning and Court of Protection work including completion and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to appoint financial Deputies.

My clients are at the heart of everything I do. Quite often my clients are going through a very hard time dealing with the loss of a loved one, or they are going through a time in their lives where they are becoming more forgetful and they want to ensure that everything is in place. These can be some of the most stressful and challenging times and by putting clients at the centre of all my work I am able to provide both legal knowledge and expertise but also the chance for them to talk about these situations with which they are faced.
