Ty Hafan

3 Peak Challenge

A team from Everett Tomlin Lloyd & Pratt successfully completed the Welsh 3 Peaks in aid of the children’s hospice charity Ty Hafan raising  over £2,000 for the charity.  Five of the staff took part in the one day event starting at 4.30am at the foot of Snowdon and finishing in the early evening sun at the bottom of Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons.

The team was made up of solicitors and legal executives our offices in Pontypool and Newport and spanning all areas of legal practice from criminal and family to commercial law completed the event in just over 15 hours having tackled the tallest mountains in North, Mid and South Wales.

They walked a total distance of 20.35 miles and made a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m) whilst seeing some of the most spectacular views Wales has to offer.

Senior partner and team member Gareth Edwards commented,  “Ty Hafan is a very worthwhile cause and is one of our nominated charities this year. Knowing the worthiness of the cause helped in the dark and drizzle of the cloudy climb up Snowdon and saw us through to the end at Pen-y-Fan, we are very proud of having completed the event and raised so much for the charity”.

The firm recently celebrated it’s 200th anniversary and has offices in Newport and Pontypool. The firm provides the full width of legal expertise for the individual and the business and can be contacted via the web address below or on 01633 251801.
